Following selection criteria must be fulfilled by any individual / entity to become a Business Correspondent of the bank. 

• Should be a permanent resident of the area in which the Business Correspondent has proposed to operate. 
• Should have minimum educational qualification of 10th  (Matriculation). 
• Should have minimum age of 18 years. 
• Should be well-versed in the local language/ dialect. 
• Should have the knowledge of the concerned geographical area. 
• Should have the knowledge of domain expertise. 
• Should not be affiliated to any political organization. 
• Should not have any criminal record. 
• PAN no. shall be mandatorily available with the BC. 
• Should have passed IIBF certification – “Certificate Examination for BC/BF”
